Ajax Systems hosted its sixth special event on November 21, 2024, showcasing an impressive array of new technologies, devices and strategic changes. The event, which has attracted over 2 million views in recent years, took place with 130 offline events in 40 countries - including one on our premises - attracting a specialist audience and partners from the region. The focus was on updates and innovations in all Ajax product categories, as well as a clear restructuring of the portfolio.
The company, originally known for its burglary protection products, has now expanded its expertise to include fire protection, security, comfort, automation and video surveillance. Ajax Systems focuses on the seamless integration of its products into a comprehensive security system that offers numerous benefits and business opportunities for both end users and professional partners.
In just a few years, Ajax has established itself as a leading provider of fire and security solutions. The portfolio includes 19 devices that meet the world's highest standards, including EN 14604, UL 268 and many more. Of particular note is the FireProtect 2 detector's "smoke mode", an innovative feature for special applications.
Ajax Systems is committed to making security intuitive and tangible, according to Chief Marketing Officer Valentine Hrytsenko. New tools and services have been introduced to support specialist partners, including the Partner Infoboard, a central interface for partner information, and the Ajax System Configurator, which makes it much easier to set up security systems. At the same time, the company is investing in the Ajax Academy and specialized content to educate partners and give them a competitive edge.
New product categorization for easier navigation
One of the most important innovations at the event was the introduction of a new, clearer product categorization. This is divided into the main areas of intrusion, fire and security, convenience and automation, and video surveillance. Within intrusion, the Baseline (wireless Jeweler devices) and Superior (wireless and wired devices) lines were established. This structure will be fully implemented by 2025.
New products include the Curtain Outdoor Jeweller, a wireless motion detector with three-level threat analysis that minimizes false alarms and is ideal for garages, windows or entrances. In the area of photo verification, enhancements to the MotionCam series were introduced, including the Superior MotionCam HD (PhOD) Jeweller, which uses HDR and a new protocol to deliver images in less than five seconds.
The SpeakerPhone Jeweller, a voice module, enables direct communication between an NSL operator and people on site for the first time, while the DoorBell, a video doorbell with PIR sensor and AI support, features exceptional video and audio quality as well as backup communication. For remote or unpowered properties, Ajax offers the BP Jeweller Hub, a battery-powered control panel ideal for construction sites and vacant buildings.
Several new security solutions for high-risk premises such as banks and jewelry stores were also introduced. These wired devices in the Superior range meet stringent standards such as EN 50131 (Grade 3) and are equipped with advanced features such as an anti-masking system.
Advances in video surveillance
In the area of video surveillance, the TurretCam, BulletCam and DomeCam Mini cameras, among others, were introduced in 2024. The system features artificial intelligence, data protection and seamless integration into the Ajax security network. New software tools, such as a video storage calculator, make it easier to plan and manage video surveillance systems.
Increased focus on certifications
Ajax Systems also increased its focus on international certification of its products. Dozens of devices have received the French NFA2P certification, including the new Superior StreetSiren Plus models. With the continuous expansion of its portfolio by about 30 products per year, the company underlines its innovative strength and its ambition to set new standards in the security industry.
