New product from Ajax: LightSwitch Jeweller (2-way and crossover)
Smart lighting control for home and office
Ajax's new intelligent switches combine the reliability of professional security systems with ease-of-use and versatile automation features. With the LightSwitch Jeweller series, we are expanding our existing range to give you even more options for lighting control.
LightSwitch (2-way) Jeweller allows the same light source to be controlled from two different locations, such as the top and bottom of a staircase or the two ends of a long corridor.
LightSwitch (Crossover) Jeweller extends the functionality of the toggle switch to control the same light source from three or more different locations. This solution is ideal for large offices, manufacturing facilities or homes.
A design that enhances the space
LightSwitch is a modular system where each component can be purchased separately: LightCore, frame and colored, touch-sensitive control panel.
The components can be easily joined together for flexibility and adaptability.
- LightCore: Contains the electronics and relays that control the power supply.
- Button Plate: Colored, touch-sensitive control panel.
- Frame: Plastic frame for horizontal or vertical mounting of 2 to 5 units.
Because color plays an important role in interior design, LightSwitch is available in eight different colors: white, fog, gray, graphite, ivory, oyster, olive, and black. The front panel is quick and easy to replace, so you can easily match the design to your customer's wall color.
In addition to Smart Light Switches, Smart Sockets are also available. These have the same design and colors as the switches and can be installed together in a frame.
Custom configuration
The transparent frame accommodates up to 5 switches or LightCore relays with colored, touch-sensitive front panels. This allows you to customize the switches to match modern residential and commercial spaces - either as an eye-catching accent or discreetly integrated.
Focus on ease of use
The designers placed great emphasis on an intuitive user experience. The LightSwitch responds instantly to every touch, whether light or strong. A simple gesture such as bringing your hand, elbow or knee closer is enough to activate it.
Light control via app
With the Ajax app, you can effortlessly control your lighting from thousands of miles away. The software synchronizes the function of the toggle switches so that the status of the switch is immediately visible in the app. You can also set the lights to automatically turn off after a certain amount of time, helping you save energy.
Automation options
LightSwitch can activate several Ajax automation devices such as WaterStop Jeweller, Relay Jeweller, WallSwitch Jeweller, Socket Jeweller and Outlet Jeweller. The applications are almost unlimited: Turn off the lights and close the blinds when you go to bed, turn on the lights and start the humidifier when you come home, or turn off the lights in the office and turn them on again when the alarm goes off.
Easy installation
LightSwitch requires no neutral wire and supports lamps from 5 to 600W. Installation takes only 5 to 10 minutes.
Security Technologies
Ajax systems use secure, bi-directional radio communications with the Jeweller protocol to ensure maximum security. The LightSwitch functions are managed by the hub, which communicates over a range of up to 1,100 m. It can be connected simultaneously to four Internet providers via Ethernet, WLAN or two 2G/3G/LTE cellular networks, allowing automation scenarios to work without a server connection.
The new LightSwitch Jeweller models offer expanded application possibilities and significantly increase the convenience of lighting control. With a wide range of configuration options, they are the perfect solution for modern interiors and enable intuitive interaction with lighting and other devices.
